Where do I get an OpenRouter key?

Create one at openrouter.ai/keys and add credit there. Paste it in Settings. We encrypt it and never show it again.

What does pay as you go cost?

We measure the model cost of each request and add 20%. You see every charge in Settings.

What happens when my balance runs out?

You can still read everything you've already generated. New AI requests pause until you top up or add your own key.

Signed up before September 25th, 2026?

Ascend's key stays free for you, with the same monthly allowance.

Which models run on my own key?

The same ones Ascend uses. Each feature picks its model the same way on either key. With your key, OpenRouter bills you for exactly those calls.

Is my portfolio data private?

Completely. Your book is private to you. Only your account can see it. We never share, sell, or use your holdings data to train models.

Do you support brokerages other than Schwab?

Direct Schwab sync is live. Other brokerages connect through our brokerage aggregator, and more are being added. Connect once and your holdings stay up to date.
